Nice to meet you! My name is Shawna Martin MSW RSW and I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

My 30 years of experience includes working in clinical practice, case management, leadership as well as facilitation/teaching/advocacy. As a Certified Yoga Instructor (200RYT), it is not uncommon for our time together to include a breathing technique or mindfulness approach to remind us of our mind-body connection.

Our time together can be learning and adopting evidence-based tools and strategies to navigate through changes and transitions with resilience, self-awareness and confidence, building on your personal growth and superpowers!

Nice to meet you! My name is Shawna Martin MSW, RSW, RYT200 and I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I graduated from Trent University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and continued my studies at York University where I obtained both a Bachelor and a Masters in Social Work.

My experiences include working in clinical practice, case management, advocacy, and training/facilitation. My 30 years of experience includes working in clinical practice, case management, leadership as well as facilitation/teaching/advocacy. As a Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT200), it is not uncommon for our time together to include a breathing technique or mindfulness approach to remind us of our mind-body connection.

I offer coaching and counselling in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Narrative Therapy. As a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200), it is not unusual for me to introduce some Somatic approaches, including mindfulness and breath work, helping us to remember our mind and body connection.
